Il prossimo 31 gennaio 2022 andranno in scena i Grammy Awards, i premi più attesi e più importanti in ambito musicale, giunti alla loro 64ª edizione.
Ad annunciare le candidature degli “Oscar della musica” c’erano anche i nostri Måneskin (senza Victoria): Damiano, Ethan e Thomas hanno presentato le nomination alle categorie “Best Orchestral Performance”, “Best Opera Recording”, “Best Choral Performance”, “Best Chamber Music / Small Ensemble Performance”, “Best Classical Instrumental Solo”, “Best Classical Solo Vocal Album”, “Best Classical Compendium” e “Best Contemporary Classical Composition”.
L’evento è stato trasmesso in livestream in diretta dal Grammy Museum di Los Angeles, dove sono state anche annunciate le candidature per le due nuove categorie, ovvero Best Global Music Performance (Global Music Field) e Best Musica Urbana Album (Latin Music Field).
Gli ABBA hanno ricevuto la prima nomination della loro carriera e l’ex presidente degli Stati Uniti d’America Barack Obama è stato candidato con “A promised land” nella categoria “Best spoken word album”.
